About Tatiana Dewar
I am a classically trained violinist based in Bristol / Bath, with over 26 years of experience performing across the UK. Whether setting a romantic tone for wedding ceremonies, elevating corporate galas, or playing solo concert repertoire, I bring artistic sensitivity, elegance, and tailored musical programmes to every unique celebration.
I have performed internationally as a soloist and also in chamber groups and orchestras, winning various competitions and performing with some of the best string players in the world. At the age of 14, I was offered a place on the prestigious Juilliard School of Music Summer Programme, where I had the opportunity to perform alongside some of the finest young musicians from around the world. I was also a winner of The Two Moors Festival Young Musicians Competition.
Since then, I have performed extensively throughout the UK, both as a soloist and as part of chamber orchestras, at venues and festivals including Bristol Beacon, St John’s Smith Square, Wells Cathedral, St David’s Cathedral and Cheltenham Festival.
Alongside my concert work, I particularly enjoy performing at weddings and private events. I have extensive experience of adapting my playing to different settings, atmospheres and occasions, and understand the importance of being professional, reliable, personable and easy to work with when contributing to someone’s special day.
My repertoire includes classical music as well as contemporary and pop music, and I am very happy to tailor my performances to suit the couple, their ceremony and the overall style of their wedding. I can provide music for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts and other special moments throughout the day.
